Recipe: Creamy Banana Stovetop Oats

Eating glyphosate free is a priority for my body and the earth. Making choices that will benefit my body and the planet are how I am helping the Earth on Earth day as well as every other day. I created this recipe in partnership with my favorite oatmeal brand, One Degree Organics.

(7 minutes | 1 serving)

What you will need: - 1 tablespoon of coconut oil - 1/2 a banana - 1 cup of organic coconut milk or any nut milk of your choice - 1/2 cup (I always do a little more for the soul) of One Degree Organics sprouted rolled oats - Cinnamon - 1 tablespoon of just date syrup INSTRUCTIONS: - Take 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and add it to a pot on medium heat. Let the oil melt for about 20 seconds - Add half a banana to your pot and bring the heat down. Use a spatula to mash your banana into the coconut oil - Now add 1 cup of nut milk of your choice. I like to use coconut milk in a can because it has very few ingredients - After everything is mixed together, add 1/2 cup of One Degree Organics sprouted oats - Make sure your stove top is on low to medium heat. Let the oatmeal soak up the liquid for about 4 minutes. Add as much cinnamon as you desire (I love a lot) - For an additional touch of sweetness I’ll add date syrup
